ABD Certification Testing

Testing is coordinated through Arbet Consulting, Inc. (ACI).

The American Board of Dermatology (ABD) is one of 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties. The ABD was incorporated in 1932 to elevate and maintain the standards of this specialty. The mission of the ABD is to serve the public interest by promoting excellence in the practice of dermatology through lifelong certification. To accomplish this mission, the ABD conducts an initial certification examination; time-limited certificate holders participate in recertification and/or maintenance of certification (MOC-D) programs. Subspecialty certifications in pediatric dermatology and dermatopathology are also offered.
