Nutrition and dietetics credentialing protects and improves the health of the public and supports practitioner competence, lifelong learning and career advancement. CDR credentialed practitioners are recognized and respected as the food and nutrition leaders.
The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) has sole and independent authority in all matters pertaining to certification, including but not limited to standard setting, establishment of fees, finances and administration.
The Commission's RD/DTR certification programs are fully accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accrediting arm of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence based in Washington, D.C. This accreditation reflects achievement of the highest standards of professional credentialing. To learn more about CDR, visit the CDR website.
