Important Information on (ISC)2 Exams
If you are having difficulty finding a test center or a testing appointment, please contact Pearson VUE Customer Service. Service representatives will be available to assist you with your testing appointment and guide you through the process.
One of the benefits to candidates taking an examination via CBT is that most candidates receive their scores immediately upon completing their examination. In some cases, however, in order to ensure it is providing accurate and valid test results to candidates, (ISC)2 must conduct periodic psychometric analyses of a group of candidates’ responses before it releases their exam results. For the small number of candidates affected by this process, the candidates will receive their results within 6-8 weeks after taking the exam. (ISC)2 apologizes in advance for this inconvenience to those candidates who will not receive their pass/fail status at the test centers, but this is an important part of (ISC)2’s quality assurance process to protect the integrity of the credentials. Candidates who are impacted by this process will be informed when they complete their tests.
(ISC)2 provides special accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991. If a disability prevents you from taking the examination under normal conditions, you may request special accommodations. Candidates who require special accommodations should not schedule their exam appointment online or call the main Pearson VUE registration line. Requests for accommodations should be made to (ISC)2 in advance of the desired testing appointment by submitting medical documentation, an explanation of accommodations needed, type of exam, and exam location to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once (ISC)2 grants the accommodations request, it is then submitted to Pearson VUE Accommodations. Please allow 2-3 business days after (ISC)2 grants the accommodation request and then you may call 800-466-0450 to schedule your exam appointment.
You will be required to agree to the NDA Agreement (PDF, 228 KB) that will be presented at the beginning of your exam. Failure to read/accept the agreement within the allotted 5 minutes will result in your exam ending and a forfeit of your exam fees. Please take a moment to review the agreement now so that you are familiar with it when you sit for your exam.
